MinnTex Citrus collects the e-mail addresses and other personally identifiable information (such as your name, postal address, and telephone number that is knowingly and voluntarily provided by those who use our Website, make purchases or communicate with us via e-mail.  We also automatically collect information about your computer hardware and software. This information can include your IP address, browser type, browsing actions, domain names, access times and referring website addresses.  We aggregate information on what pages consumers’ access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

Information Gathering and Usage

  1. When you request information from MinnTex Citrus we ask for information such as your name, organization name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
  2. When you choose to purchase products from MinnTex Citrus, we may ask for additional information necessary to provide you with the products and services you request.  This may include, but is not limited to, additional phone numbers and credit card information.
  3. When you place an order through an individual salesperson related to a participating school/organization, the individual through whom you placed your order may ask you for additional information that is necessary for us to complete an order and to provide you with the products and services you purchased. The individual salesperson through whom you placed your order may provide such information to MinnTex Citrus so that we may fulfill your order.
  4. MinnTex Citrus uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing and collection, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, advertising and research.

Credit Card Safety

Credit card information necessary to complete transactions is handled by third party providers that comply with industry standard security measures.  MinnTex Citrus does not store any credit card information at any time.  Users under age 18 need parent/guardian consent to use a credit card to make purchases online.

Data Storage and Security

MinnTex Citrus uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run our Website.  Although MinnTex Citrus owns the code, databases, and all rights to our Website, you retain all rights to your data.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask that you not to share your password with anyone.
